The College Conservatory of Music, at the University of Cincinnati is a comprehensive school of performing and media arts. This department is currently seeking an instrumental music educator, for a one-year visiting faculty appointment.
Responsibilities: Primary teaching responsibilities will be undergraduate classes in instrumental music education. Faculty member will also contribute to graduate programs as befitting expertise.
Minimum Qualifications: Master\u2019s degree in Music Education and documented record of at least three (3) years of successful teaching in the public schools.
Doctorate in Music Education is preferred as well as experience with online instruction, interdisciplinary studies, technology, and world music.
Terms of Appointment: Full-Time, one-year visiting appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Appointment Date: August 15, 2018.
