Overview Your daily responsibilities include SUMMARY The Casino Scheduler is responsible for daily operations of the Table Games Scheduling Office. Coordinates schedules for Table Games department staff and other administrative duties as assigned. Maintains a positive demeanor with visitors, vendors and fellow employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in the preparation of the weekly schedule for each shift based on business needs. Enters changes as necessary. Accurate and timely tracking of employee PTO, special requests and FMLA. Responsible for daily tracking of employee time and attendance. Records payroll information in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares reports, documents and files as necessary. Responds to employee questions or concerns. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards. Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff. Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times. Participates in meetings and training as required. Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and\/or company management. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence\/memos. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers or staff, customers and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment. Other Qualifications Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook; Word; Excel & Access. Knowledge of office machines is required including personal computer, copier, and fax. Understanding of casino games and scheduling process. Champion of Red Carpet Customer Service and building positive team spirit. Must be diplomatic and tactful and have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees. Previous customer service experience preferred. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.
