The Director, Creative Content, Universal Pictures International will work with the International Theatrical Department which oversees the marketing and distribution of Universal Pictures theatrical releases outside of North America. The individual will need to be able to multi-task, take initiative to start new projects, and interact effectively with other employees in the international theatrical marketing and distribution department, the domestic marketing and distribution departments, and international theatrical offices around the globe.
Collaborate and strategize with all divisions of global marketing and distribution including Digital, Multicultural, Publicity, Partnerships, New Media, In-Theatrea and Creative Content to align efforts in developing a comprehensive worldwide content distribution strategy.
Develop and tailor creative content for international markets to target established consumer demographics and interest groups, understanding the unique cultural variations between regions.
Communicate clear and concise guidelines to international territories for content placement based on research and testing to ensure strategic priorities are implemented on all titles.
Oversee the development and distribution of all AV/print and digital publicity content.
Develop strategies for global content and asset launches and oversee their implementation and activation.

Ability to work well with others both internally and externally on all creative conent needs.
Flexibility to work on multiple tasks at any given time.
Strong written and communication skills at all levels.
Excellent computer skills: PC, Mac, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, Dropbox and Slack.
Knowledge of and experience in Social Media marketing and content.
Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field is required.

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

8 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specifically marketing, public relations, distribution or promotions
Prior experience working in film publicity, marketing, digital, creative content is preferred.
Proficiency in additional languages a plus.
Have exceptional follow through and see projects to completion.
