Description When acting as a floor person, responsible for compliance with approved procedures, as well as, training, supervising and monitoring the performance of dealers to ensure smooth and efficient gaming during shift. When acting as a dealer, responsible for dealing a game in a proficient manner while maintaining a courteous and friendly manner. These are Candidate Identified positions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: WHEN ACTING AS A FLOORPERSON: u00b7Specifically supervise the operation of an assigned number of tables. u00b7Ensure fills/credits are handled according to policy. u00b7Promote positive guest relations. u00b7Assist in answering questions or resolving disputes. u00b7Exhibit knowledge of all appropriate state and company controls, policies, and procedures. u00b7Promote the following within the department and among all associates: u00b7Create an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests. u00b7Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all associates by setting a positive example at all times. u00b7Instill an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes. u00b7Retain associates through personal involvement in associate training and development. WHEN ACTING AS A DEALER: u00b7Protect and control the game. u00b7Conduct the game according to company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations, handling guest transactions and notifying Pit Supervisor of any irregularities. u00b7Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner. u00b7Promote outstanding guest relations. u00b7Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines. u00b7Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises an assigned number of dealers when acting as a floorperson.
