We are looking for a Director of Photography to help
bring innovation to high-volume photographic workflows, reducing the operational cost while improving the quality of imagery produced
from our Santa Monica office.

A typical day as a Director of Photography might include:
Provide art direction within internal or third-party photography and video studios.
Responsible for architectural/location or set direction, room types and/or conceptual ideas, paint palettes, driving prop sourcing/usage, narrative, lighting, composition, cropping, and overall aesthetic decisions working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Work as a leader in our photo studio.
Work within designated budgets, timelines, and branding guidelines.
Develop ideas and concepts into compelling visual solutions and present along with rationale and detail to team members and executives.
Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design concepts meet brand standards and business goals.
Continuously drive teams of stylists and photographers to excellence through regular coaching, training, and process improvement while still contributing to campaign work.
Work well under pressure, quickly solving problems, and excelling in a high-volume, deadline-driven e-commerce studio environment.
Responsible for light and shoot digital photography for a wide range of products and editorial images to inspire and engage our merchants and buyers on the e-commerce site and for Marketing 
Able to understand the creative direction and manage the set team and models to achieve the desired image
Consistently produce digital images that are within established standards
Collaborate with other teams to create compelling images of fashion products in full environments for product pages, videos, and other marketing initiatives
High level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created and distributed by the studio
Maintain the workflow that ensures completing the daily production requirements.
Work cross-functionally with various teams and individuals within the organization that require photographer support
You’ll be successful if you
can offer a beautiful and robust portfolio of more than 10 years of photography projects, can establish a uniform style for photos for outbound marketing and communications – on brand.
You can make
technical decisions regarding shoots such as choice of cameras, lenses, and other accessories as well as other aspects such as lighting, shot composition, etc. 
You are a master at
overseeing and managing acquisition, deployment, and disposition of photo and video assets. You must be highly collaborative, energetic, and fueled by the desire to advance the brand and discover unique solutions.
What You Have:
Artistic vision and abundant creativity. 
Senior-level creative or marketing experience with a successful track record of developing, executing, and measuring strategies and tactics. 
In-depth knowledge of photography and video equipment such as cameras, lighting, sound, Steadicams, accessories and more. 
Hands-on experience with photography, video production, and lighting. 
Ability to both give and receive clear direction.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and MS Office.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
Ability to recruit and manage top talent as needed. 
Experience researching, procuring, and testing new photo and video software and hardware.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Photography, Film/Media, and/or Videography.
Understanding of image/video marketing principles and strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
