Position Summary: GOLFTEC is a growing company with approximately 350 employees, and we are looking for an experienced HR professional to guide our human resource services, policies, and programs to create an employee oriented, high performance culture.  This position will be a liaison and ambassador for golf coaches and corporate employees, spending time counseling, coaching, and mentoring employees, with the ability and eagerness to make a connection. General Human Resources: Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including recruiting, on-boarding/off-boarding, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance, and personnel transactions. Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions and implementing solutions. Coach and counsel managers and employees. File annual EEO-1 report; monthly new hire reporting. Administer workers’ compensation claims, leaves of absence, and unemployment claims. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Benefits: Ensure employees understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communication and counseling to employee/dependents as situations arise. Provide customer service to employees by answering questions and resolving problems related to access or payment of benefits.  Administer annual open enrollment and create communication pieces (with the assistance of our Insurance Broker).  Communicate changes to employees and administer in-person and remote presentations. Process monthly billings from insurance providers. Review bills for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll and employees. Reconcile payments with premium deductions. Maintain knowledge of government regulations and keep up to date on PPACA. Administer FMLA, unemployment compensation, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA, and 401k programs and comply with their regulations. Payroll: Supervise and provide backup processing for semi-monthly payroll for approximately 350 employees Ensure that personnel and payroll files and records are maintained in accordance with State and Federal requirements and company policies and procedures. Manage HRIS system and generate reports for tracking purposes. Strong understanding of commission plans and calculations is preferred. Experience with multi sate environments required. Compensation: Administer compensation programs, including monthly commission plans, merit process and performance appraisal process. Analyze and prepare ad hoc benchmark data as needed.
