Act as a liaison between VIP guests and resort to ensure the delivery of the highest level of customer service to Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa guests.
Assists Executive Host with handling day-to-day operational issues to include, but not limited to, coaching VIP Agents to perform their respective work assignments more effectively as required.
Meet, greet and deliver exceptional service to all VIP guests.
Arrange hotel, limo, room amenities, golf and spa reservations and other needs for the satisfaction of VIP guests.
Notify VIP guests through telemarketing and letter writing about services available, promotional opportunities, and special events to assure guest retention and repeat business.
Work special events servicing VIP guests on and off property.
Review VIP activities and promotional status with Executive Casino Hosts, Player Development Manager and Player Development Director as required.
Solicit and develop new VIP guests through contacts within the community and on the casino floor.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Supervisory authority, as delegated by the Executive Host, over VIP Agents to include, but not limited to, handling day-to-day operational issues and coaching VIP Agents to perform their respective work assignments more effectively as required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Computer skills, excellent verbal and written skills. Required to act as a sales representative. In-depth knowledge of Player Development operations. Working knowledge of ACSC & LMS.Team leader and supervisory experience is required. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Ability to speak to large or small groups, including acting as Master of Ceremonies for events, parties and tournaments. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations. Must possess strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task while paying close attention to details.
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Casino operations preferred. Player Development experience preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred or equivalent work experience. Bilingual in an Asian language is required.
Ability to pass a NIGC key license background.
Must be able to read, write & speak English. Candidates with bilingual capabilities will get a preference. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must have the ability to independently problem-solve challenging situations. Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and have the judgment to decide which procedures apply to a variety of situations. Must reason with people effectively yet cordially.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and often will stand or walk.The employee frequently is required to reach with arms and use hands to manipulate or feel. The employee might occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires the ability to hear and speak on the telephone and vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The duties of this position are typically performed in an office environment with low to moderate noise, and adequate lighting. Operating on the casino floor may occur from time to time during the scheduled shift where smoking is permitted and noise levels may be elevated.
The incumbent is expected to devote such time and energy as is reasonably necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Typical working hours are to be arranged by department. Position may require further availability evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.

The Morongo tribe has had to overcome many adversities as the reservation was one of nine small reservations set aside by President Grant by executive order in 1876. In 1983, the path of Morongo’s future changed when tribal members started a modest bingo hall. From this building evolved one of the oldest and most successful Native American casinos in California. The present $250 million destination which opened in late 2004, the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa, is one of the largest tribal gaming facilities in the nation.

With its diversification into non-gaming businesses, the tribe has become the largest private sector employer in the Banning-Beaumont region and is a major contributor to the Coachella Valley economy. The tribe now employs more than 3,000 people. The tribe pays payroll taxes, unemployment benefits, employee benefits and provides health programs. More than two thirds of the Morongo workforce is composed of residents from the Banning Pass and desert cities. On both community outreach and social education fronts, Morongo has taken a leadership role. The tribe gives generously on an annual basis to hundreds of local community groups.
Today, the region’s governments, businesses, community leaders and groups regard Morongo as a friend and partner. The Morongo tribe’s progress is a case history that illustrates how combining a pro-active tribal government with sound economic development can enable tribes to turn their lives and communities around and dramatically impact the surrounding economic region.
