This person will guide commuters to work using our state of the art traffic programs. The ideal candidate will also be used in social media segments on “What’s Trending”, interview studio guests and play an important part of our morning team ensemble. In this role, you will also produce and present 'What's On Tap,' Weekend entertainment segment.\r\rWe seek someone who understands the technology we will provide them is only as good as their ability to master it and use it to show the timeliest traffic reports that focus on drive times and alternate routes. We want someone who wants to be a traffic reporter, not someone already thinking about their next career move.\r\rRequirements:\r\r\rEnergetic, accurate, and concise on-air presentation style\rAbility to work under tight deadline pressure\rThe ability to work collaboratively. A real team player.\rStrong and creative writer\rThe ability to report news stories that meet and exceed all SBG standards\rActive on social media.\rSomeone who understands sometime traffic issues occur outside of morning news time and stay on top of it with on-air special reports and/or social media\rSomeone with a sense of humor\rSomeone who can turn on a dime to more serious topics\rUnderstands acceptable wardrobe, hair, and makeup styles that suit our market and SBG guidelines\rNot less than one to two years of experience as a full-time reporter/anchor/producer at a network-affiliate TV station news department\r\r\rExperience: \r\r\rSomeone who has mastered traffic computers, maximizing their abilities\rLive broadcast experience necessary \rPrevious experience working in a team environment\r\r\rThe ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a news, weather, or traffic anchor at a network-affiliate TV station or producer with the proven ability to make the leap to on-air.\r\r\rWhile completing the online application, please include a web link to your work.
