KENS-TV, San Antonio, Texas is currently accepting resumes for the following position in the News Department. The following is the job description for the above referenced position: Utility Player (Camera-Audio) FT (News Department) This critical full-time position has two primary responsibilities: #1 - Remote studio camera operations during live newscasts, production and promotions. Other responsibilities include studio set up, lighting, designing and building of sets, equipment maintenance, assisting remote location shoots, prop room maintenance and other assignments which may not be defined. Successful candidate will also be trained as an audio engineer for backup. #2 - Audio Operator responsible for all set-up and execution of live and live to tape segments. This individual must have excellent time management skill and professional ethics. Additional responsibility: individual may be required to operate the KENS Weather Vehicle. This vehicle is sent into the field as a \storm chaser\ during inclement weather. This staff member reports directly to the News Operations Manager. Minimum 2 years' experience in new production / studio / audio operations is required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is mandatory.
