Music Department Student Assistant - Institutional Student Worker (Fall 2018)

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Music Department Student Assistant.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The student's duties will include:
Assisting with answering the phone, copying, sorting, filing, data entry, checking the mail
Maintain office hours and assisting with daily office operations
Running errands and hanging posters for upcoming events
Assist with the night and weekend events
Signing in students to events with their school ID
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ideal candidate will possess experience with written and verbal communication, public speaking, time management
Student maybe required working evening and weekend events
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate attention to detail, exhibit excellent communication skills and customer service
Excellent working knowledge of outlook, MS Office, Publisher
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
Declared Music major
Preferred in institutional GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ideal candidate will have computer skills mentioned above
