Under general supervision coordinates delivery of syndicated and cable programming to Warner Bros. business partners. This includes managing air schedules, coordinating satellite feeds with production offices and vendors, format distribution to affiliates, troubleshooting technical problems related to content deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of content, writing purchase orders for all services.
What part will you play?
Works with executive team from Domestic TV Sales, Media Sales and Production on program distribution. Maintains records of inventory and order product for stations to fulfill sales contracts.
Coordinates with external broadcast operations on scheduling of satellite feeds. Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to stations with regards to content delivery and addresses discrepancy reports.
Responsible in the maintenance and up-keep of domestic TV distribution website. Includes daily up-keep of format and air schedule distribution, email lists and stations profiles.
Works closely with show producers on delivery of product. May have early call times in the event of live shows.
Responsible for purchase order creation and submission to vendors.
Assist in the implementation of new processes and technologies (e.g.: PitchBlue, CWD Distribution, Xytech)
Supervises distribution of product (programming/promotional) to cable business partners via purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered to client’s specifications and meets sales contracts and avails.
Prioritizes, maintains, organizes mastering and rejections of features, TV shows with Warner Bros. internal and external vendors.
Responsible for daily communication with cable business partners and internal departments (editorial, mastering, sales, etc.)
What do we require from you?
BA in related field, Film or Video, Broadcasting. Equivalent experience in a lab, TV station and such similar experience will also be valid in lieu of college degree.
Broadcasting or Television Traffic experience or other related entertainment industry experience.
Prior knowledge of syndication and cable distribution
Knowledge of purchase order writing process is a plus
3-5 years’ experience in the entertainment industry.
Knowledge of computer systems required - Windows 10 Enterprise, Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook. Prior experience in traffic management systems preferred. Knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and can make decisions quickly
Can handle multiple assignments and multi-task
Excellent organizational skills
