Seasonal: (April 15 - September15, 2022)
We are seeking a seasonal full time Operations Manager with strong leadership and management skills, a motivated individual with a proven work ethic and positive attitude.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
• Hire, train and manage a portion of venue staff during events and oversee venue operations
• Review show settlements with CEO/Executive Producer to ensure a smooth process for each show settlement
• Daily coordination with Production Management on show specifics, staffing and priorities
• Understand and execute band/artist contracts, complete show settlements, work with band/artist directly or tour managers to settle shows each night
Essential functions of position include but are not limited to:
• Work with other management to oversee and supervise staff members
• Oversee cleaning of venue and buildings, ensure maintenance and all permits are in order
• Communicate staff job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
• Prepare weekly and daily work schedules, approve time worked and delegate work duties
• Serve as liaison among management, artists, staff and town officials
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multi-task in high energy settings
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Education with emphasis in office management and business administration
• Experience in management/administration within the hospitality industry/high volume venue and bar may be substituted for education
Operations Manager Expectations:
• Daily reporting to CEO/Executive producer
• Report all per show accounting matters to the Controller within 24 hours of performance
Preferred Experience:
• Knowledge of POS and back office reporting systems
• Experience in management and administration
• 5 years' experience in the entertainment industry, including operations, food and/or beverage services, inventory control and box office operations.
• Valid drivers' license and working vehicle
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and FileMaker
Work Environment and Schedule:
• Office, live concert venue in outdoor tent with varying levels of crowd size and noise
• Continuous standing/walking, speaking in front of large groups, able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Required to work all shows, evening and weekend hours required
• Due to the nature of our business, all staff must be fully vaccinated
Salary
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 (April 15 - September 15, 2022), based on live concert venue experience
