Profile

The Director Casino Credit is responsible for overseeing the credit department and granting and denying credit pursuant to the property policies.
Position Responsibilities
This position functions as the Credit Department Manager in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
Amicably resolve customer related problems in a fast-paced environment
Complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements
Overall smooth operation & management of the Credit Department
Reviews & recommends policy changes to VP of Marketing in accordance with Casino Control Commission guidelines
Maintains all activities that could affect the efficiency and effectiveness, as well as, integrity of the credit operation
Responsible for granting, compliance & extension and/or denial of credit pursuant to the policies and procedures of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. submission and New Jersey Gaming Regulations
Responsible for the distribution and administration of performance appraisals, commendations, constructive letters and progressive discipline to all reporting levels of Credit Department employees
Interacts with the manager of the cashiers cage, games and slot Departments to ensure markers are issued in a timely and proper manner (customer service related)
Responsible for supervisory functions in the absence of the Sr Casino Credit Executive including problem solving and overseeing the processing of credit applications
Responsible for purchase orders, maintenance of time and attendance
Maintains confidentiality of all **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
This position can comp at a low limit in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke as well as excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds
Whats Required
General business and accounting knowledge; knowledge of credit procedures and administration
Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the casino industry
Organizational and communication skills
Credit, cage or casino experience preferred
Ability to effectively communicate in English
