Job Summary:
FX Networks Public Relations department is seeking qualified interns to support the department in the following areas: Publicity, Corporate Communications and Talent Relations.
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
• Organize and distribute media clips/coverage reports
• Conduct research for ongoing and special projects
• Manage press lists
• Contribute in the planning and on-site execution of FX premiere events and Television Critics Association Press Tours.
• General knowledge of FX Networks programming
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship experience in Public Relations/Communication or Entertainment is preferred.
Required Education
• Major in Public Relations, Communication, or Journalism is preferred
Preferred Education
• Junior, Senior or recent graduate
Additional Information:
Eligibility
• All students must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• All students must be at least 18 years old.
• At the time of application, must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participating in the program – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship.
• The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - August/September.
• All candidates must be willing to work 40 hours/week.
