I need a simple music website that has the ability to display and play audio files with them protected from unauthorized downloading. Login required to download. On my server I have many folders containing audio files. I need an audio plugin to display the tracks in the folder when asked to. I add files to the folders on the server so this audio plugin needs to look at this folder to get its contents.
1) Elegant simple homepage
2) Database with all of the audio tracks metadata. I currently use Excel files. So, being able to upload excel files to add to database and then export to excel all of the data currently in the database is essential.
3) On main page, list of all the folders on the server (these contain my audio files)
4) When folder is clicked to view, an audio plugin pops up or new page displays all of the audio tracks in that folder on the server. User can listen, see waveform, etc. If they click the download button, they need to login first or request permission from me.
5) Search feature.
Here is a complex version of what Im looking for. I am looking for a simpler version of this. I like the search fields on the left side of the screen and also the search text box at the top...Like this example page, I want the audio files listed in the main body of page, when you click play on the track, the waveform is displayed above and the track plays...Downloading, adding to a playlist, needs to be login protected.
