Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Execute marketing campaigns and oversee post-sales process across TV, digital and social
• Manage CNBC & MSNBC’s TV billboard process and weekly television sponsorships
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program commitments and deadlines are met
• Merchandise wins and successes via recap decks and eblasts
• Create and design marketing materials for new/upcoming programs/products across Social, Digital, TV and Audio opportunities (IE: one-sheets, mini decks, case studies etc.)
• Participate in brainstorms and idea generation based on advertiser’s RFPs
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including the greater Creative Development teams, One Platform Marketing, Editorial, Events, Branded Content, Social, Research, Ad Operations and Pricing and Planning to activate 360 sponsorship opportunities at scale
• Support OPCD News team with administrative tasks including sales and marketing tracking systems/documents, sales materials management and budget reconciliation when needed
Qualifications
/Requirements
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience at a media company, agency or sales organization preferred
• Ability to create Sales/Marketing materials to internal and external partners
• Experience with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint/Word/Outlook/Excel/Teams)
• Strong interest in CNBC, NBC News, MSNBC, the news media landscape and other NBCU brands is a plus!
Desired Characteristics
• Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills for internal and external client communication
• Understanding of presentation development including format, design and compelling storytelling
• Experience working with ad-sales or brand advertising and marketing
• Familiarity with the development and execution of sponsorships and promotions
• Knowledge of media marketing, the ad-sales process and media in general
• Experience with creative development process with key stakeholders (IE: sales, marketing, editorial)
