BMLG Royalty & Copyright Coordinator
Summary
Big Machine Records is seeking exceptional candidates for an entry-level coordinator position. For the right candidate, this will present the opportunity for career growth, development, and expansion of professional, entertainment industry skills.
Essential Job Functions including, but not limited to:
• Creating and maintaining tracking logs for new releases
• Detailed data entry in Record Maestro
• Income analysis & tracking
• Interdepartmental liaising
• Mechanical and artist statement preparation and distribution duties
• Organize, track and electronically file documentation
• Request documentation and update data in Record Maestro
• Review administration change requests and update them in Record Maestro
Position Qualifications
• Exceptional organization skills
• High level of competency with MS Excel
• High accuracy rate when performing data entry
• Must be extremely detail-oriented
• An analytical mindset and mathematical aptitude
• A positive, can-do attitude that can thrive in a fast-paced, high-accuracy needed environment
• A desire to develop and advance professional skillsets
• The ability to work independently; must be self-motivated
• The ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members and other departments
• An understanding for the need of and the ability to practice extreme confidentiality required
Required Experience
• Prior experience in licensing, copyright, rights management, business affairs, royalties or publishing preferred
• At least one year of professional work experience (or relevant internship) preferably in the entertainment industry
• Experience with Tableau preferred
• Experience with AirTable preferred
• Experience with Excel macros preferred
• Experience with Counterpoint/Record Maestro preferred
• Experience with database systems preferred
